Evelyn M. Anderson, age 84, of Riceville, Iowa, passed away at the MCRHC-Hospital in Osage, Iowa, on Tuesday, August 15, 2006.

A memorial service was held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Saturday, August 19, 2006 with the Rev Barbara Mann officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.

Survivors include nephews Doug and Sue Warburton and family of Northwood and Darrell Warburton and special friend Heidi Paulus and his family all of Mabel, Wisc. Also surviving are two sisters, Lois Eidness of Osage and Maryetta Mentel of Washburn, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn M. Anderson of Riceville age 84, of Riceville passed away at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center - Hospital in Osage on Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa. Inurnment was in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville, (Mitchell county), Iowa.

Evelyn was born on September 21, 1921 on the family farm in Howard County Iowa to John W. and Zeffie Ford Warburton. She attended local schools. Evelyn was united in marriage to Harold Anderson on June 12, 1946. They farmed in the Riceville area their entire lives. Evelyn was a homemaker and worked with her husband farming.

Survivors include two nephews they raised: Doug Warburton and his wife Sue and their children Adam and Megan all of Northwood, Iowa and Darrell Warburton and his special friend Heidi Paulus and his children Heather Warburton and her daughter Bailee and Sara Warburton all of Mabel, Wisconsin. Also surviving are two sisters: Lois Eidness of Osage, Iowa and Maryetta Mentel of Washburn, Iowa and many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death her parents her husband, Harold on November 12, 2005, three brothers Harry, Bill, and Dale Warburton and three sisters: Lenora Gansen, Grace Warburton, and Delores Lambers.
