Funeral services for Dean H. Anderson, 35, of St. Ansgar, Iowa, who died as the result of an auto accident near Carpenter, Iowa, on February 21, were held February 25, 1983 at Schoeder and Sites Funeral Home here, with the Rev. John P. Smith, pastor of the St. Ansgar Catholic Church, officiating.
Dean Harley Anderson was born on June 25, 1946 in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Nels and Alma Pluma (DeMaris) Anderson. He attended the Carpenter schools, and for the past years had worked for a painting contractor.
He was preceded in death by his father, and by two brothers, Victor and Howard.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lou of St. Ansgar; by one daughter, Ann Marie, and by one son, Kameron Dean, both at home; by his mother, Mrs. Alma Anderson of St. Ansgar; by three sisters: Mrs. Clarence (Fae) Eckert of Meltonville, Minnesota; Mrs. Vern (Alta) VanHoeser of Nora Springs, Iowa; and Mrs. Robert (Doris) Pflieger of Plymouth, Iowa; and by two brothers, Russell of St. Ansgar, and Neil of Plymouth.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery with Rev. Smith in charge of committal services.
