[NOTE: Gjert Nielsen (22 y.o.) and Christie Ingebrigtsdatter (34 y.o.) were married 12th July 1853 in Sogndal, Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway.

When they emigrated in 1881 only Ingeborg travelled together with the parents. Probably some of the other children also emigrated.

Gjert N. Wasli was born at Sogn, Norway August 8, 1830.

He was confirmed at the Sogndal church. In 1857 he married Christi Engebregtsdatter. They emigrated to America in 1881. His first wife died in 1882.

Wasli moved to Iowa in 1887. In 1889 he married Ronnog Throndsen. They have since lived in St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Mr. Wasli has been failing for some time. He died May 28th at the age of 81 years and 10 months.
