Nora Alice Young, the daughter of Brigham Young, was born on June 15, 1861, in Tennessee. She died at the home of her son, Elza Enfield, in Howard County, Iowa, near LeRoy, Minn., June 22, 1939. She had been making her home there for the past one and a half years.

She grew up to the early teen age in Tennessee and then moved with her parents to Monmouth, Illinois. There, in the autumn of 1880, she was married to George Enfield. They continued to make their home in Illnois, and then moved to Kildove, Iowa, where they were engaged in farming. They lived many years in that vicinity.

In 1913 they moved to Minnesota, where they lived at various places, including Austin. Some twelve years later they broke up housekeeping and returned to Iowa, thereafter making their home with their children.

While a young girl she united with the Methodist church, and she attended this and other churches when she was able.

She was the mother of six children, one of whom, Pearl, passed away fifteen years ago. Her husband passed away four years ago.

She is survived by the other five children: Elmer, of San Jose, Calif.; Arlie, of Osage; Mrs. Floyd McIntire, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Elmer Newell, Shell Rock, Iowa; Elza, LeRoy, Minn. There are also thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Enfield was an invalid for many years.

The funeral service was held at the Champion funeral home last Sunday at 2:30 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. Stiles Lessly, and burial was made in the Osage cemetery beside her husband.
