A Memorial Mass for Mary Alice Marreel, age 83, of Osage, Iowa, will be held on Tuesday May 2, 2006, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage, with Rev. John Moser officiating. Inurnment will be later at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Mary passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Faith Lutheran Home in Osage. Per her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Iowa.

Mary was born January 8, 1923, at Carpenter, Iowa, the daughter of Hector and Minnie (Parmenter) Marreel.

She was employed as a supervisor at Fox River Mills.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Madeline Zerck; and three brothers, Maurice, Albert and Ray Marreel.

She is survived by three brothers, George (Alverna) Marreel, Osage; Walter (Delores) Marreel, Austin, Minn.; Enri (Mary Ann) Marreel, Chandler, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are by Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home, Osage, Iowa.
