Ms. Willoudeen M. Petersen

Memorial Services for Willoudeen M. Petersen were held Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the Fleet Reserve Branch 126 Home, 7673 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.

Cremated remains are to be scattered on Pearl Harbor Day Dec. 7, 2006 by the U. S. Navy in Mayport Florida. Willoudeen M. Petersen passed away on March 20, 2006 after an extended illness.

She was born on August 9, 1927 in Silerton, Tennessee. Willoudeen was Past President-Secretary Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Unit 126, Past Regional President LAFRA, Past Director and Treasurer of Jacksonville Women's Bowling Assoc., Past Director of Florida Women's Bowling Assoc., Past Secretary of Jacksonville Bowling 500 Club and Past Director of Florida 500 Club.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father Aubrey and Inez Mayfield, daughter Sheila Dunham Rakes and granddaughter, Kitsaa Erin Rakes.

She leaves her husband, Frederick J. Petersen, formerly of Osage and Cedar Falls, after 45 years of marriage. She leaves her daughters Paula D. Harrell (Glen), Candi L. Cabaniss (Roy) and her son David J. Petersen, grandchildren, Hope Woodyard (Larry), Jana Blevins (Jason), Megan Rakes, Jason Harrell (Marisol), Amanda Harrell, Courtney Harrell, Amber Cabaniss, Roy Alan Cabaniss and Rhianon Cabaniss, great-grandchildren, Nathan Harrell, Jay Rodriguez, Lindsey Harrell and Lilliana Harrell, Aaron Woodyard and Laney Sue, Alex and Mike Blevins, brothers Dr. Wayne Mayfield (Carrie), James Mayfield (Fannie) and sister Nina Fay Beach (Tom).

The family would like to extend our many thanks to the Fleet Reserve Branch Unit 126 and bowling friends who were like a second family. We would also like to thank the staff of Life Care Center at Wells Crossing in Orange Park, for their constant love and attention to my wife and my children's mother.
