Lawrence Schoger Has Passed Away

Rock Creek Young Man, 29 Years Old, A Victim of
Peritonitis.

The whole community was saddened and shocked Thursday to learn that Lawernce Schoger, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schoger, had passed away at 9:30 the evening before.

Lawrence was taken with a severe case of appendicitis a few days before and was taken to the Savre hospital. However, before the operation could be performed the appendix broke and peritonitis set in.

He was a young man only 29 years of age, and had more than made a success of his vocation-farming.
He served eighteen months during the recent war, and saw active service in the front lines. Upon his return home he purchased the farm in Rock Creek known as the Amundson place, and he has made it one of the county's best farms.

His father died a couple of years ago and since that time his mother has kept house for him-the older brother working the home place.

Funeral services were held from the Rock Creek church on Saturday, at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. O. C. Myhre conducting the services.
