Mary Borchardt, 78, Dies Here Sunday.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Miss Mary Borchardt, 78, Osage resident, who died Sunday at Mitchell County Memorial hospital after a week's hospitalization.

The Rev. Obert Hoven and the Rev. R. M. Christensen, associate pastors were in charge of the services at Our Savior's Lutheran church. Burial was in the cemetery at Grafton.

Mary Margaret Borchardt was born in Worth county, March 5, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Borchardt. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran church near Grafton, attended the rural school and grew to womanhood in that area.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William, two sisters, Lena and Emma, whose death occured Feb. 2, 1962.

She is survived by two brothers, Carl of Osage and Emil of Grafton, and one sister Minnie with whom she lived in Osage.
