Services Held Last Week
For Wm. Borchardt

Funeral services were held Monday, September 18, for William Borchardt, 73, who died Friday. He submitted to surgery in May and never fully recovered.

The Rev. Frederick Ide was in charge of services held at Champion's funeral home and the Rock Creek Lutheran church east of Grafton. Burial was made in the Rock Creek cemetery.

William Borchardt was born July 14, 1877, on the home farm near Plymouth. He lived there his entire life at the home of his brother, Carl, with the exception of one year when he operated his own farm.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, and two sisters. Survivors include three sisters, Emma, Minnie and Mary Borchardt, all of Osage, and two brothers, Carl and Emil of Plymouth.
