DIED - In Stacyville, Nov. 15, 1879, Deacon Thomas Elliott, aged 45 years.

The deceased had been a sufferer from consumption for fifteen years and for several years had been unable to engage in any business. During the last twenty months he had been almost wholly confined to the house and much of the time to his bed, in great weakness, and at times with great suffering.

He endured his suffering with much patience and christian resignation. Unostentations, kind, conscientious, a consistent christian, he was much respected by the whole commuity.

Funeral services were held in the Congregational church; sermon from Psalms 17:13 "I shall be satisfied with I awake with thy likeness."
