The death of Mrs. E. Meier occurred February 7. She was very aged having reached her ninetieth year and was cared for by the people who occupy the house. Her only daughter-in-law resides in Osage and is the widow of Paul Meier.

The funeral services were held at the house, conducted by Rev. Strand and her body laid to rest in the North Rock cemetery, by the side of her husband who was killed in a runaway years ago. The relatives have our sympathy in their bereavement.
