Paul Jerome Dargan, age 90, formerly of Seattle, Washington, passed away at the Newfield House Nursing Home in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Dec. 16, 2014.
He was the devoted husband of the late Mary Catherine (Kerry) Dargan.

Born in Riceville, Iowa July 12, 1924, Paul was the seventh of eight children born to James Bernard and Emma (Auringer) Dargan. He was educated in Iowa and had worked as Quality Control Planner with Boeing Aircraft Corporation in Seattle, Washington

During World War II, he proudly served in the US Army Air Corps as a B-24 bomber mechanic with the 460th Army Forces Base Unit in the western US. After the war he returned to Seattle and rejoined Boeing where he worked for Boeing for over 30 years.

Mr. Dargan was very active in his church serving for almost a decade as a secretary-treasurer of the Serra Club in Seattle, He also served as president of the Sacred Heart parish council in Seattle and was a Eucharistic minister for the parish for many years, attending mass every day.
Wherever Paul was he made a friend and he had many friends over the years in Seattle.

After he moved to Massachusetts he spent a year in the loving care of the Newfield House in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he made many friends and brought happiness to all those around him with his wry sense of humor and one-liners. He is missed already.

Mr. Dargan was the loving father of James K. Dargan and his wife Lisa E. Dargan originally of Seattle, WA and now of Plymouth, and Robert A. Dargan and his wife Joann Dargan of Snohomish, WA. He was the cherished grandfather of Robert "Bo" and Allison Dargan.
