Killed by Lightning.
Riceville Recorder:—Simon Dorsey and team which he was driving were instantly killed by lightning during the electric storm last Saturday afternoon on the Marsh farm just north of David. He and Mr. Sullivan, for whom he was working, were returning home from the hayfield and each driving a team when the flash came, killing the young man and the team. Two colts were following close by but were uninjured

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Saint Peters Cemetery in New Haven and died June 29, 1901. His birth date is unknown.
