Jonathan S. Potter expired this morning after a lingering illness caused principally by cancer of the neck. He had been gradually sinking for the past two weeks, his death having been daily expected. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, at the house at 2 o'clock and at the Congregational church at 2:30, conducted by Rev. McElroy.— Riceville Recorder.
