Larry Keith Julius was born to Wright and Dora (Grose) Julius on May 24, 1943, on the family farm west of Little Cedar, Iowa. Larry attended school in Little Cedar and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.
Larry married Ruth Ann Eastman on September 14, 1963. The couple made their home in Riceville, Iowa. To their union was born one daughter, Joni on November 19, 1964. Larry was a faithful servant of God as a member of the Riceville United Methodist Church and worked hard to support his family as a Plant Manager for Farmers Feed & Grain. Larry, best known as “Juice” or “Papa Juice” by great-grandchildren, loved to go for drives in the country and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. He was also known to throw a fishing line in the lake on occasion and shared that passion with his grandchildren. Larry will be remembered fondly for his love of family, his gentle soul and loving heart.
