Obituary.
Last Sunday occurred the burial, in Riverside Cemetery, of Albert Morey, who died Friday, the 7th at Minneapolis, of heart failure, at the age of seventy years.
Mr. Morey was born near Syracuse, N. Y. He came to Riceville about 1870 and took up a farm and resided here until about 1885, a portion of the time conducting a hotel and an implement house.
The funeral services were held in Minneapolis, Saturday afternoon, and the body brought to Riceville where simple services were held at the Wilkes hotel conducted by Rev. Lewis, and the remains laid to rest in Riverside. The two sons, Clarence, of Minneapolis, and Carlton, of Bonair, both of whom are men of the highest standing, were present at the funeral. —Riceville Recorder.
