Brian Dean Elliott

September 10, 1957 - July 11, 2018

Brian Dean Elliott, age 60, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by things he loved in Snohomish, Washington on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

Brian was born on September 10, 1957 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Darald and Jane (Jennison) Elliott. He attended K-7th grade in Riceville, Iowa and graduated from Osage High School in 1976.

He became an operating engineer and spent the next 40 years operating earth moving equipment all over the US. He was a mule and horse-owner and lover and, after a few years of training, became a licensed farrier, shoeing horses and mules, wherever called upon to do so.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Elliott, of Osage, his daughter, Grace Marie Elliott, of Sultan, Washington; two sisters, Sarah Elliott of Osage, IA, and Mary Jean Gasteiger of Murrieta, CA; and one brother, Mark Elliott of Osage, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father Darald Dean Elliott.

A memorial service honoring Brian will be held in the Burr Oak Hall at 3863 Primrose Ave. on Saturday, July 28, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
