September 4, 1935 -- June 6, 2018
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Patricia A. Schrader of St. Ansgar, and formerly of Elma, New York, died June 6, 2018 , at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 12, at the Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Owen officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home in St. Ansgar from 5 – 7 p.m. Burial will be at Newburg Cemetery near Carpenter.
Patricia was born on September 4, 1935, to John and Flossie (Pease) Bessell in Buffalo, NY. She was married to Henery J for 48 years.
Pat was a 4-H leader for many years, along with working for the Cooperative Extension on the Incubation and Embryology and Talking Plant programs. Pat also was active in the NYS Pork Producers until she moved to Iowa.
Once in Iowa she joined the Red Hat’s and Garden Club. She enjoyed her flower gardens and especially her watering can garden.
She was the mother of David and Amy (Michael) Justinger, and grandmother to Erica.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of North Iowa, 232 2nd Street SE, Mason City, IA 50401.
