Magdaline Elizabeth Wagner, age 91, of Osage, died Monday, March 27, 2017, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Magdaline was born February 21, 1926, in Osage the daughter of Joseph and Katharina (Frank) Kloberdanz. She attended school in Osage. Magdaline was united in marriage to Eugene “Geno” Wagner on November 5, 1946, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. She helped farm with Geno. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Magdaline enjoyed dancing, family get-togethers, cooking for family and sharing candy with all others at the Faith Lutheran Home.

Magdaline is survived by her five children: Sharon (Larry) Schluter of Osage, Karon Clark (Jerry Rogers) of Osage, Carol (Robert) Clark of Osage, Donna (Jim) Sonberg of Osage, Duane (Wendy) Wagner of Osage; 19 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene “Geno” in 2013; eight brothers: John, Jacob, Peter, Joseph, George and three in infancy; four sisters, Christina Redecker, Betty Greenlee, Anna Schwab and Peggy Claassen.
