Died October 2, 2016

Angela S. Dishinger, age 40, of Osage, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with Gary Clark officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

Angela was born November 8, 1975, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of David and Sara (Coverdell) Onken. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1994. On July 11, 2011, she married Michael Dishinger at Spring Park in Osage. Angela worked for the Staff Motel and S&S Locker doing janitorial work. She enjoyed her family, shopping, their four pets, collecting wolves and unicorns, and helping Michael at the Redemption Center.

Angela is survived by her husband, Michael Dishinger of Osage; three sons: Jeremy Hahn, John Onken and Jason Onken, all of Osage; her father, David Onken of Osage; two brothers, Jody Onken of Mason City and Richard (Sandra) Onken of Orchard; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gloria and Ronald Dishinger of Osage; and brothers-in-law, Lonnie Dishinger of Cresco and Gary Dishinger of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Onken; and her grandparents.
