Bessie May Williams was born February 19, 1897 on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Gustav Moller Williams and Bertha Hansdatter Peterson (Alms), the third of their five children. She had 2 older brothers, Wilfred George Homer and Stanley Ingvald. After her death, her younger sister, Laura Clarissa (Clarice) and brother, Chester Palmer, were born.

Bessie was baptized into the Lutheran faith.

Bessie died February 27, 1897 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, just eight days old. She was buried on March 25th, 1897 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Cemetery at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

There is a memorial for Bessie at Find a Grave #43029026 with photos of her gravestone.
