Died April 19, 2016

Nancy L. Johnson, age 74, of Osage, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at Calvary Cemetery in Riceville, Iowa, with Rev. John Moser officiating. Following the graveside service, there will be a time for lunch and fellowship at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Osage.

Nancy was born January 20, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Lillian (Schneeberger) and Thomas McCarthy, Jr. As a youth, Nancy moved with her family to Riceville, Iowa. She attended Riceville schools and graduated from Riceville High School in 1960. Nancy married Pete Wyatt, and to this union, four children were born. They later divorced. On October 11, 2003, she married Keith E. Johnson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They made their home in Osage.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Keith E. Johnson of Osage; her daughters, Leesa (Randy) Churchill of Savage, Minnesota, Lori (Neil) Riley of St. Ansgar, and Beth Wyatt of Osage; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Hill of Winona, Minnesota, and Marilyn (Bill) Kay of Gwinn, Michigan; and brother, Jim McCarthy of San Diego, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kyle Wyatt; grandson, Jimmy Shane; and great-granddaughter, Bryanna Wyatt.
