Wayne Adams, age 46, of Stacyville, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center Hospice Unit in Osage.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery with military honors at the grave by Stacyville American Legion Post 569. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville.

Wayne was born September 27, 1969, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Glen “Pickle” and Erma (Eckford) Adams. He graduated from Osage High School in 1989. On May 27, 1989, Wayne married Roberta Mauer at Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville. He served in the U.S. Army. Wayne has been employed as a regional manager for Croell Redi-Mix since May of 1998. He was a member of the American Legion. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Roberta Adams of Stacyville; his children, Courtney (Stanton) Isfeld of Canby, Minnesota, Nicholas (Jenna) Adams of Perry, and Jason Adams of Clear Lake; his parents, Glen “Pickle” and Erma Adams of Osage; his mother-in-law, Joanne Mauer of Stacyville; brothers and sisters, Larry (Donna) Adams of Plover, Wisconsin, Dan (Sheila) Adams of St. Ansgar, Lori (Brian) Hoisington of New Haven, Sandy (Larry) Kramer of Byron, Minnesota, Monty (DeAnn) Adams of Cameron, Missouri, Mike (Dawn) Adams of Osage, Todd (Jen) Adams of Orchard, and Coleen (Dave) Berhow of New Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father-in-law, Robert Mauer; and brother-in-law, Gene Mauer.
