Inger Lovisa (Louise) Olsdatter Fjelde was born March 18, 1866 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Ole Olesen Ovre Fjelde and Ingeborg Siri Halvorsdatter, the youngest of their five children.

Inga was baptized on May 27, 1866 at either Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa or at the First Lutheran Church at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa. (Her baptism record appears in both of the churches record books.) Her baptismal sponsors were: Thidemand Thidemandsen (Docken); Ole Olsen, Maria Olsdatter and Britha Olsdatter.

She was confirmed at Rock Creek Lutheran in Meroa, Iowa on April 18, 1880.

She never married, nor had children.

Found in the 1870 - 1905 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1870: Ole Oleson 38, Sarah Oleson 33, Martha Oleson 14, Ole Oleson 12, Betsey Oleson 9, Louisa Oleson 6 (should be 4).

1880: Ole Fjelde 53, Sara 45, Ole 21, Bertha 16, Louise 14.

1885: Oley O Tjelde 57, Sarah Tjelde 50, Mary Tjelde 27, Bertha Tjelde 21, Louisa Tjelde 19, Lars Larson 23.

1895: Louisa Fjelde age 28.

1900: Lars L Sorlie 40, Inga Sorlie 11, Clara Sorlie 9, Ole Fjilde 72, Louise I Fjilde 34, Maren O Lund 29, Peder Ostby 24.

1905: Louise Fjelde.

Louise Fjelde died on February 9, 1907 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. She is buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.

There is a memorial for her at Find A Grave #56696980.
