MINNIE FELDT RITES CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were conducted for Minnie Feldt on Wednesday, December 17 at the Rock Creek St. John's Lutheran church with Rev. Ide in charge. Interment was in St. Johns Lutheran cemetery.
Minnie Feldt was born October 26, 1879 in Newburg township to August and Ernestine Stelter Feldt. She was baptized by the Rev. W. J. Zellinger in the Rock Creek Lutheran church. In the fall of 1891 she suffered a serious attack of typhoid fever. In February of 1892 she suffered a severe attack of scarlet fever and diphtheria.
In 1893 she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith by the Rev, Joseph Westenberger. The early period of her life was spent on a farm with her parents in Rock township. She was admitted to the hospital at Independence, Iowa in 1927.
On December 10 she suffered a stroke and passed away on December 13 at 2:15 pm, having reached the age of 68 years one month and 17 days.
The deceased is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Herman Schroeder, Toeterville, Mrs. Wm. Lutz, Otranto, Mrs. Ed French, Long Beach, Calif., Miss Annette Feldt, Los Angeles, Calif., and two brothers, Fred and August of Osage besides many nieces and nephews.
