Alma Isadore Teslow was born October 6, 1883 at Hayward, Freeborn, Minnesota to Ida Amelia Ofstehage and Mikkel Teslow. Alma was baptized and confirmed at the Hayward Lutheran Church at Hayward, Minnesota.

Found in the 1900 census living on a farm at Hayward, Freeborn, Minnesota: Mikkel Teslow 43, Ida 35, Alma J 16, Olaf M 12, Beatrice I 10, Walter 7.

Alma married Oliver Knudsen Haugen on March 16, 1904 at the Hayward Lutheran Church, Hayward, Freeborn, Minnesota.

The couple had 3 children:
Iva Gladys (b October 19, 1905 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, d March 26, 1988 Nora Springs, Floyd, Iowa);

Mildred Ovidia (b August 8, 1907 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, d January 23, 2000 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa) and

Gordon Raymond (b September 26, 1920 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa, d January 13, 1992 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.)

Family found in the 1905, 1910 censuses living at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1910: Oliver Haugen 29, Alma Haugen 26, Iva Haugen 4, Mildred Haugen 2.

Found in the 1920 - 1940 censuses at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa:
1920: Oliver Haugen 39, Alma Haugen 37, Iva Haugen 14, Mildred Haugen 12.

1930: Oliver Haugen 49, Alma I Haugen 46, Iva G Haugen 23, Mildred O Haugen 21, Gordon R Haugen 9.

1940: Oliver Haugen 59, Alma J Haugen 56, Garden Raymond Haugen 19.

Alma I Haugen died March 26, 1958 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa She was buried at the Osage City Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.

There is a memorial for her at Find a Grave #53994082 with a photo of her gravestone.
