(Died November 9, 2015)

Brian Clayton, age 59, of Osage, died Monday, November 9, 2015, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center Hospice Unit in Osage.

Brian’s wishes were to be cremated.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Osage Alliance Church in Osage with Pastor Jim Stern officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Brian was born October 29, 1956, in Osage, the son of Dorothy Rose (Beyer) and Robert Lee Clayton, Sr. He attended school in Osage and graduated from NIACC and Hamilton Business College. On March 15, 1975, Brian married Kim Adams at Faith Lutheran Church in Mitchell. He worked as a welder and supervisor at Curries for 15 years until he became disabled. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Brian loved spoiling his family and celebrating the holidays.

Brian is survived by his wife, Kim Clayton of Osage; his children, Christopher (Jennifer) Clayton and their children, Carter, Cameron, Sawyer, Max and Hawken of Manchester, Courtney (Jessica) Clayton and their children, Sadie, Austin and Genasee of Mitchell, Casey (Rebecca) Clayton and their children, Sydney and Alex of Chandler, Arizona; brothers and sisters, Robert Lee (Myra) Clayton, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Cheryl (Lynn) Bonjour of Waverly, Laurie Barta of Manly, and Lyle (Sandy) Clayton of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pam Clayton; and granddaughter, Avery Clayton.
