DEATH NOTICE--

(Died June 20, 2015)

Keith R. Eagen, age 72, of Osage, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home in Osage.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Haven with Rev. Steve Garner officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in New Haven with military honors at the grave by Osage American Legion Post 278 and Osage V.F.W. Post 7920. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Keith R. Eagen, age 72, of Osage, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home in Osage.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Haven with Rev. Steve Garner officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in New Haven with military honors at the grave by Osage American Legion Post 278 and Osage V.F.W. Post 7920. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Keith was born April 5, 1943, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Richard and Gladys (Hein) Eagen. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in New Haven. Keith served in the U.S. Navy as an electrician during the Vietnam War. He worked as an electrician out of I.B.E.W. in Mason City until his retirement in 2004. Keith was a member of the Osage American Legion and the Osage V.F.W. He was an avid antique collector. Keith enjoyed genealogy and was the family historian.

Keith is survived by his son, Jim Eagen of Lime Springs; brother, Ken (Connie) Eagen of Osage; and sister, Mary Ann (David) Charron of Dittmer, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
