Ingeborg Martine Pedersen (Peterson, Maakestad) was born April 29, 1864, at Mitchell County, Iowa, to John Pedersen Maakestad and Martha Nielsdatter Johnson, the third of their eight children.

Ingeborg was baptized on May 29, 1864, at the First Lutheran Church at St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Ingeborg M. Pedersen died before 1880 at Mitchell County, Iowa, but have not located where she was buried. The family had a plot at the Riverview Cemetery in Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa which is probably where she is buried but she may not have had a gravestone.
