Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 5, 1985, at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, for Viola Kleinwort Terry, 84, who died Thursday, January 3, 1985 at a St. Ansgar care center.
Rev. N. Betke officiated at the service and burial was in Newburg, Cemetery at Carpenter, Iowa.
Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Terry was born in Barton, Township in Worth county, Iowa, on September 22, 1900, to Adolph and Katherine (Ogden) Kleinwort.
She was a retired federal government employee.
She is survived by cousins.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Viola) Terry were held on Saturday, January 5, 1985, at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar. Rev. Norman Betke of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, officiated at the service with burial, which included interment of her husband's ashes, next to her parents, in Newburg Township Cemetery at Carpenter, Iowa.
Viola Kleinwort Terry was born on September 22, 1900 in Barton Township, Worth County, the daughter of Adolph and Katherine Ogden Kleinwort. She attended schools in Worth county, Carpenter, Osage, the University of Iowa and Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton, Florida.
She was united in marriage to Major Charles Hollen Terry on August 1, 1944 and they lived in Florida at Miami, Lantana and Boca Raton. Her husband passed away October 7, 1968. Mrs. Terry had been an active member and organist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Boca Raton, Florida. She became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in April, 1980. She was a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar since 1979.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by her brother, Harvey.
Survivors include cousins E.J. Hollats of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Osie Adrian of Baudette, Minnesota, Mrs. Bernice Ehlke of St. Ansgar, and other relatives.
