Obituary from Osage News, September 18, 1900:

Irvin Bert, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Iver Olsen died September 7, 1900, aged two months and thirteen days. The sadness of the home at the loss of the mother only a few weeks previous was again thrust upon the family through the death of the babe. The funeral occurred at Rock Creek Norwegian church last Sunday. Reverand J. A. Urness of Prairie Farm, Wisconsin officiating. The body of the lifeless little flower now lies buried beside that of its mother and her children who had gone before. The father and four remaining children of the family have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their deep sorrow.

There is a memorial for him at Find a Grave #99561370.
