Anna (Annie) Margeret Nelson (Nilsen) was born July 4, 1879 at Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Mathias Nelson (Nilsen) and Johanna Gulbrandsdatter, the fourth of their six children.
Found in the 1880 & 1885 censuses living on a farm at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:
1880: Mathias Nelson 39, Jane Nelson 35, Netty Nelson 13, Eddie Nelson 6, Mary Nelson 3, Anny Nelson 11 mos
1885: Mathias Nelson 43, Jennie Nelson 39, Nellie Nelson 19, Edward Nelson 10, Mary Ann Nelson 7, Anna Nelson 5, Minnie Nelson 3, Anton Nelson 1.
Anna married Jacob Washington Fawver (b 1872, d 1919) on November 2, 1899 at Iowa. The couple had 6 children.
Found in the 1900, 1905 censuses at Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa:
1900: Jacob Fawvir 28, Anna Fawvir 21, Charles Hall 22.
Found in the 1910 census at Moscow, Freeborn, Minnesota: Jacob Fawver 38, Anna Fawver 30, Myron Fawver 9, Lloyd Fawver 8, Harold Fawver 7, Earl Fawver 4, Hazel Fawver 7 mos.
Found in the 1920 census at Austin, Mower, Minnesota: Anna Fauver 40, Myron Fauver 19, Lyod Fauver 18, Harold Fauver 16, Earl Fauver 13, Hazel Fauver 10, Nellie Fauver 10.
Found in the 1930 census at Lansing, Mower, Minnesota: Loyd A Fawber 28, Anna Fawber 50, Loyd D Fawber 2 yrs 11 mos, Hazel A Fawber 20.
Found in the 1940 census at Austin, Mower, Minnesota: widowed: Earl C Notestine 48, Hazel Notestine 30, Mark E Notestine 4, Anna Fawver 60, Harold Fawver 37.
Appears in the 1931 to 1959 Austin, Minnesota City Directories.
Anna M Fawver died June 6, 1968 at Austin, Mower, Minnesota. Could not find her burial site.
