Georgia Olava Moe was born September 10, 1893 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to George Oscar Oleson Moe and Else Marie Fjelde, their only child.
She was baptized on October 15, 1893 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Ole A. Fjeld; Gunhild Docken and Mr. & Mrs. Martin O Fjeld. She was confirmed at RCLC on June 14, 1908.
Found in the 1895 - 1910 censuses living on a farm at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Georgia Moe age 1.
1900: Maria E Moe 47, Georga O Moe 6, Ole Fjeld 79, Gunhild M Fjeld 85.
1905: Ole A Fjelde, Gunhild Fjelde, Marie Moe, Georgia Moe
1910: Else Marie Fjelde Moe 56, Georgia Olava Moe 16, Gunnild Mari Eridsdatter Haugsrud Fjelde 95.
George attended college. She married the Reverand Hugo E Gibson on July 27, 1932 at Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Iowa. The couple had 1 son, George Hugo (b 1935 Texas).
Found in the 1940 census at Seguin, Guadalupe, Texas: Hugo E Gibson 45, Georgia O Gibson 46, Lois O Gibson 17, George Hugo Gibson 5, Olivia U Gibson 69.
Georgia Gibson died March 25, 1973 at Seguin, Guadalupe, Texas. Burial site not found.
