Clarence Leonard Moe was born August 27, 1900 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Olaus George Moe and Olava Finsand, the third of their five children.

Clarence was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa on September 16, 1900. His baptismal sponsors were: Margrete and Tosten Finsand; Martin Moe and Sina Moe.

Clarence was confirmed at RCLC on June 6, 1915. He never married, nor had children.

He bought 129 acres of farmland with his two brothers, Edward and Olvin from their aunt and uncle, Mr & Mrs Lars Oppedahl. They farmed the land and rented out the house which was located on the Rudd Blacktop about 1 mile east of Meroa.

1905: George O. Moe, Olava Moe, Mabel, Olvin, Clarence, Edward,

1910: George O Moe 40, Olava Finsand Moe 38, Mabel Moe 13, Olvin Moe 11, Clarence Moe 9, Edward Moe 6, baby Moe 0.

1915: Clarence Moe age 14.

1920: George Moe 49, Olava Moe 47, Mabel G Moe 23, Olvin H Moe 21, Clarence L Moe 19, Edward F Moe 16, Alice O Moe 9.

1925: George O Moe 55, Olara Moe 53, Mabel G Moe 28, Olvin H Moe 26, Clarence L Moe 24, Edward F Moe 21, Alice O Moe 14.

1930: George O Moe 60, Olava Moe 58, Mabel G Moe 33, Clarence L Moe 29, Edward F Moe 26, Alice O T Moe 20.

Clarence Moe died August 5, 1979, at Mitchell County, Iowa and is buried at Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
