Funeral services were held on Monday, January 24, 1983, at Champion Funeral Home, for Harry Johnson, 91, who died Friday, January 21, 1983, at an Osage nursing home. The Revs. James Pittman of the First United Methodist Church and John Gilbert officiated at the service. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson owned and operated a plumbing and heating business for many years in Osage before retiring. He was a 50 year Mason, a charter member of the Osage Federal Saving and Loan Assn., also a charter member of the Sunny Brae Country Club and a life-long member of the United Methodist Church in Osage.

He was born on April 5, 1891 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Tom and Adella (Gardner) Johnson.

Harry Johnson and Bess (Millard) were united in marriage on August 17, 1917.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Bess, of Osage; one brother, Marshall, of Austin, Minnesota, and by nieces and nephews.
