Anna Karine Maakestad ​​​was born May 15, 1875 at Ce​d​a​r, Mitchell, Iowa to​ O​le​ Johnsen Maakest​ad ​and​ Kjersti Engeb​rits​datt​er Qvisle Nelson.

Anna was baptized on June 20, 1875 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Johannes Pedersen, Ole O Moe, Gunhild Arnesdatter and Anne M Olsdatter.

She received her schooling at the rural country school and at the St Ansgar Seminary. Anna was confirmed June 8, 1890 at RCLC at Meroa, Iowa.

1880: Ole O. Johnson 53, Christie Johnson 46, Martha Johnson 17, Isabel Johnson 14, Siever Johnson 12, Oliena Johnson 8, Anna Johnson 5, Tom Johnson 19, John Levan 27, Ingebret Nelson 80.

1885: Oley M Johnson 58, Christe Johnson 50, Martha Johnson 21, Isabelle Johnson 19, Sever Johnson 17, Lena Johnson 12, Anna Johnson 9, Peter Motland 24, Tunis Johnson 23.

Anna marrie​d The​odore Fagr​ebakke​n (Fagre) Pede​rsen (Peterson) on May​ 15, 18​98 at R​ock Cr​eek Luth​eran Chu​rch,​ Meroa, Iowa. (Theodore born December 30, 1869 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, d May 11, 1953 Blooming Prairie, Steele, Minnesota). After their marriage, Theodore sold his interest in the Meroa General Store to his brother Nic Peterson and the couple moved to Blooming Prairie, Steele, Minnesota.

3​ children were born to them at Blooming Prairie:​​
Kinley Ingvald (b October 24, 1901, d December 28, 1990 Alameda, California),

No​ra Odella (b January 28, 1905, d September 15, 1975 Primghar, O'Brien, Iowa) and

Alfred​ Theodore (b March 17, 1908, d July 25, 1985 Alameda, California).​

Theodore ran a printing press company there; later his children worked for him.

1920: Theodor P Fagr 49, Annie K Fagr 44, Kenley I Fagr 18, Norah Fagr 15, Alfred T Fagr 11.

1930: Theodore P Fagre 60, Anna Fagre 55, Kinley I Fagre 28, Alfred T Fagre 25, Nora O Fagre 22.

1940: Theodore Fagre 70, Anna Fagre 65, Kinley Fagre 38.

Anna Fagre died December ​15, 1971 ​at Pri​mghar, O'Brien, Iowa. She was buried​ at the First Lutheran Cemetery, Blooming Prairie, Dodge, Minnesota
