Augusta Eske was born on August 7, 1887, in Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa. She passed away on November 22, 1978 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, on November 25, 1978, with Rev. Richard Zellmer officiating. Burial was in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa.

Casket bearers were: Irvin Wilde, Edwin Steinberg, Clarence Walk, John Pagel, George Rosenberg and Roger Bublitz.
