----------------------------------Obituary from Press-News:
Ellen Dorothea Lundberg was born May 14, 1904 near Garwin, Tama County, Iowa, the oldest daughter of Paul Jonnas and Ida Wilhelmina (Gronwoldt) Lundberg.
In 1906, she moved with her parents to Perry, Oklahoma, returning with them to the Garwin-Gladbrook, Iowa area in 1913. After her marriage, she and Henry farmed in the Burr Oak and Liberty townships, buying a farm west of Little Cedar, Iowa before retiring to Riceville in 1973.
She was a member of the Little Cedar and Riceville Methodist churches and women's societies. Also the Little Cedar neighborhood club, the Farm Bureau and a 4-H leader. She loved her flower gardens and did lots of sewing besides taking care of her chickens when they were on the farm. Her daughters thought she made the BEST cinnamon rolls. She also made red raspberry pies that people raved about and always took them to church to be sold at the fall bazaar.
Surviving are her husband, Henry, her mother, Mrs. Ida Lundberg, her daughters, 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one brother, Lawrence Lundberg of Lake Wales, Florida.
Her father and a sister preceded her in death. She died from cancer, two brain tumors.
The Rev. Richard Oehring officiated at the funeral and pall bearers were: Glen Russell, LaVerne Olsen, Rudy Schroeder, Dean Ketelsen, Kenneth Bechtum, and Marvin Gronwoldt.
