Olga Amanda Krogstad was born October 5, 1891 at Rock township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Olavus O Krogstad and Karine Larsdatter Ask, the fifth of their seven children. Olga was baptized on November 1, 1891 at Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Her baptismal sponsors were: Mr & Mrs Ole Ask; Alfred Ask and Johanne Evenen.
Olga married Lawrence Henry Olsen on November 20, 1912 at Rock Creek Lutheran, Meroa, Iowa.
Olga and Henry Lawrence had four children.
Found in the 1895 - 1920 censuses living at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:
1895: Olga Krogstad age 3.
1900: Ole O Crookstad 47, Carrie Crookstad 43, Oscar Crookstad 19, Tilda Crookstad 16, Anton Crookstad 13, Gustav Crookstad 11, Olga Crookstad 8, Cora Crookstad 5, Selma Crookstad 1.
1910: Ole O Krogstad 57, Karen Krogstad 53, Gustav E Krogstad 21, Olga A Krogstad 18, Cora O Krogstad 15, Selma E Krogstad 12.
1920: Lawrence H Olsen 28, Olga Olsen 28, Candace Olsen 6, Muriel Olsen 4 yrs, 3 mos, Leon Olsen 1 yr 6 mos, Theodore Finsand 28.
Olga A Olsen died December 9, 1973 at San Bernardino, California. Could not locate her burial site.
