Alice Korah Krogstad was born May 19, 1904 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to Oscar Ludvig Krogstad and Laura Staff, the first of their ten children.

Found in the 1910 census living at Moore, Ransom, North Dakota: O L Krogstad 29, Laura Staff Krogstad 30, Alice Korah Krogstad 6, Orin Krogstad 4, Lorna Evangeline Krogstad 1 yr, 11 mos, Nils Johnson 35.

Found in the 1920 - 1930 censuses at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa:

1920: Oscar L Krogstad 38, Laura Krogstad 39, Alice Krogstad 15, Orin Krogstad 13, Laurna Krogstad 11, Bernice Krogstad 9, Loyd Krogstad 7, Gladys Krogstad 5, Russel Krogstad 1 yr 1 mo.

1925: Oscar Kragstad 44, Laura Kragstad 44, Alyce Kragstad 20, Oran Kragstad 18, Lorna Kragstad 16, Bernice Kragstad 14, Lloyd Kragstad 12, Gladys Kragstad 10, Gelen Kragstad 3.

1930: Oscar Krogstad 49, Laura Krogstad 50, Alice Krogstad 25, Bernice Krogstad 19, Lloyd Krogstad 17, Glen Krogstad 8, Sylvia Krogstad 4 yrs 4 mos.

Alice married Harold Edwin Witt on August 23, 1930 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa.

Family found in the 1940 census at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa: Harold E Witt 40, Alyse K Witt 36, Ardis L Witt 7, Thelma J Witt 4, Lila M Witt 2.

Alice Witt died in June of 1974 at Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa and is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery, Plymouth, Cerro Gordo, Iowa.
