MITCHELL, IOWA - Judy Graves, 74, of Mason City, Iowa, and formerly of Mitchell, and Phoenix, Arizona, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

MASON CITY, IOWA - Judy Graves, 74, of Mason City, and formerly of Mitchell, Iowa, and Phoenix, Arizona, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Osage Alliance Church, Osage, with Pastor Dave Bird officiating. Lunch will be served after the service.

Judy was born August 24, 1939, in Hancock County, Iowa, the daughter of Vernon and Marjorie (Stewart) Williams. She married Robert Graves on May 2, 1960, in Rapid City, South Dakota. They lived in Mitchell before moving to Phoenix in 1987. Judy was employed by Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, and then for 15 years as an L.P.N. in the Phoenix area.

Judy is survived by her children, Keith (Barbara) Graves of Grand Mound; Lynda (Jack) Colton of Batavia, Illinois; Mark Graves, Mason City; grandchildren, Samuel Colton, Jacob Graves, Jeff Minner and Shai Lemke; great-grandchildren, Brady Lemke and Sara Lemke; two sisters, Terry (Phil) Rasmussen of Forest City, and Carol Smith of Altoona, and sister-in-law, Ann Williams of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2001; her parents, her grandson, Noah Graves; her stepfather, Stuart Walker; brother, Robert Williams; nephews, Matt Williams and Eric Rasmussen, and brother-in-law, Dean Smith.
