MRS. ELIZABETH SKUSTER

OSAGE, IOWA - Private services for Mrs. Elizabeth Skuster, 83, who died Friday at the Faith Home in Osage, were to be Monday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home; burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Skuster of Osage and Mrs. T. H. Steinhelder of Arlington, Va.; three sons, Galen W., and George, both of Osage and Gordon W., of Charles City; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert D. Warrington of Mitchell, and one sister, Mrs. Leslie Grovier of Osage.

Death: 1972

Elizabeth attended Fairview School and Mitchell High School, graduating in 1907. She taught school in Rock Township, and Otranto, both in Mitchell County. She married Rasmus Skuster January 20, 1910 and they farmed for a year west of Mitchell, and then moved to a farm east of Mitchell where they lived until Rasmus' death in 1962. Elizabeth moved to Osage.

Their children were Gladys Skuster, Glenda Skuster Steinhilber, Galen (Doc) Skuster, George Skuster, and Gordon Skuster.

Elizabeth died in 1972 and is buried beside Rasmus in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell.

Elizabeth had 12 grandchildren. Glenda Skuster Steinhilber, a daughter, Jean, married to Alex Lewis, parents of Jason, Galen (Doc) and Ruth Evelyn Levers, three sons, James and Charlotte White Skuster, two daughters, Eileen and Patricia. Robert and Judy Carlson Skuster, a daughter Kristina. George and Bertha Alice Hungerford's daughter, Myra, and James Dickson, two sons, Jeff and J.D., Mark and Jane Kimball Skuster, a daughter Sara Elizabeth. Gordon and Gloria Ellefson, five sons, Eric and Patricia Mueller Skuster, a son Christopher, David and Janis Schultz Skuster, two daughters, Kimberly and Kara, Paul and Ann Beine Skuster, a daughter Cassandra (Casie) and a son Nathan.
