Jess Edwin Ranney – July 21, 1892 – April 23, 1957
Jess Edwin Ranney of 1981 Wagner St., passed away April 23, 1957.
He was a native of Riceville, Iowa and a resident of Pasadena 32 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mayme Ranney; three daughters, Beryl Button, Bernardine Andrews, Winogene Nafziger; one son, Burton Ranney, and four grandchildren, all of Pasadena; also one sister, Harriet Ranney of Fayette, Iowa.
Services 10 a.m. Saturday in Memory Chapel, Ives and Warren Cn., 100 N. Hill Ave, the Rev. Oliver J Werner of Holliston Avenue Methodist Church officiating. Interment Rose Hills Memorial Park.

(1) Burton Harland Ranney. He was born February 18, 1913 Iowa and he died August 2, 1996 , in Los Angeles.
(2) Winogene Harriet (Ranney) Nafziger was born April 1, 1919 in E. Lincoln, Iowa and she died February 1, 1999 in Encinitas, San Diego. She married Rolland Wesley Nafziger on December 20, 1958 in Los Angeles.. He was born September 26, 1912 and died November 3, 1984.
(3) Beryl L (Ranney) Button was born September 17, 1920 in Iowa. She died June 20, 1972 in California. She married Eldon Frank Button. He was born October 21, 1907 in Iowa, the son of Charles Button and Clara (Smith) Button. He died October 13, 1989 in Los Angeles.
(4) Bernadine Jesse (Ranney) Andrews was born June 22, 1921 in Iowa. She died October 27, 2006 in Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., California. She married Arthur Neal Andrews. He was born December 15, 1919 and died June 13, 2012
