Adelbert William Page

May 7, 1869 – July 3, 1957

A.W. Page, 88, Passes Away in California, July 31.

"Word has been received here on the passing of Adelbert William Page, former Riceville resident, in California.

"Services were held Friday, August 2 in Campbell, California where Mr. Page had lived for the past 32 years.

"Mr. Page grew up on a farm located 2 miles east of Riceville. Mr. Frank H. Cutting notified the Recorder of Mr. Page's funeral."

RETIRED S.J. PRINTER DIES AT 88

Adelbert William Page, 88, retired printer, died in a Campbell area rest home yesterday after a illness of several weeks.

Page formerly operated the Royal Page Print Shop at 50 S. Second St. in San Jose. He made his home at 38 W. Rincon Ave., Campbell. Page was a resident of this are for the past 32 years. He was a native of Cresco, Iowa.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Seagrave of San Jose and Mrs. Vard Shepard of San Luis Obispo and two sons, Royal and Donald Page of San Francisco.

Final rites will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Los Gatos Cemetery under the direction of Darling-Fischer Garden Chapel. The Rev. Corwin Olds of Congregational Church of Campbell will officiate.
