Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, November 12, 1986 at the United Methodist Church in Osage, for David Francis, 29, of rural Osage. Mr. Francis died on Friday, November 7, 1986, at Des Moines. Rev. Pittman will officiate, and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Mr. Francis was born on October 16, 1957, in Riceville, Iowa, to Gerald and Zella (Fritcher) Francis. He was a 1976 graduate of Osage High School, and a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny.
Mr. Francis was a diesel mechanic at Ryder Truck in Des Moines prior to his recent return to the family farm in Osage.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Francis, rural Osage; a sister, Mrs. Mike (Colleen) Counsel of Gainesville, Florida; five brothers: Gary and Kenneth both of Osage, Jim of Preston, Herb of Rochester, Minnesota, and Robert of Jupiter, Florida; and a step-grandmother, Mabel Francis of Osage.
