Oliver Iverson was born November 19, 1889 on a farm in Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Gulbrand Iverson (also known as Gilbert Gilbertson) and Ragnild Enger, the second of their five children. Oliver was baptized on January 6, 1890 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. His baptismal sponsors were: Kirste Goplerud; Gunhild Moe; Toseten Finsand and Gulbrand Moe.

Oscar never married nor had children. He was a farmer.

Found in the 1895 - 1940 censuses living at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa: (His father switched surnames between Gilbertson and Iverson.)
1895: Oliver Gilbertson age 5.

1900: Gulbrand Gilbertson 54, Rangnild Gilbertson 43, Karoline Gilbertson 16, Oliver Gilbertson 10. Peder F Gilbertson 7, Gilbert O Gilbertson 5, Karl R Gilbertson 2, Ole Gilbertson 49.

1910: Gulbrand Iverson 65, Oliver Iverson 20, Peter Iverson 18, Oscar Gilbert Iverson 16, Carl Iverson 12, Ole Iverson 62.

1920: Gilbert I Gilbertson 71, Ole I Gilbertson 65, Oliver G Gilbertson 30, Peter F Gilbertson 27, Oscar G Gilbertson 25, Carl R Gilbertson 22.

1925: Gilbert J Gilbertson 79, Oliver Gilbertson 35, Peter F Gilbertson 32, Oscar G Gilbertson 30.

1930: Gilbert Iverson 84, Oliver Iverson 39.

1940: Oliver Iverson age 50.

Oliver Iverson died January 20, 1969 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and was buried at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery, Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa.
