DIED IN WISCONSINFuneral services for a former Mitchell resident, Mrs. Otto Trachte, 74, who died on November 15, 1971, were held last Wednesday. Mrs. Trachte of Arpin, Wisconsin, died at a hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin, where she had been a patient since November 8, 1971.
Rites were held at St. John's Lutheran church in Pittsfield, Wisconsin, and burial was there.
Dorothea Lydia Koschmeder was born on January 9, 1897, in Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Bertha Zarling Koschmeder. She received her education at Mitchell.
Otto Trachte and Dorothy Koschmeder were married on April 8, 1918, and soon after their marriage they moved to Richfield, Wisconsin, where they farmed. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and its women's organization.
Survivors include her husband, Otto; two sons, Raymond of Pittsville and Roy of Arpin, Wisconsin; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Roy and Edward Koschmeder of Osage; six sisters: Mrs. Lena Pint, Mrs. Frances Trout and Mrs. Julia Muller, Osage, Mrs. Arnold (Harriet) Loftus of Waseca, Minnesota, Mrs. Gertrude Petznick of St. Ansgar, and Alma Koschmeder of Austin.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
