WILLARD SEVERSON
OF RICEVILLE DIED

Funeral services were held on October 6, 1971, at Riceville for Willard (Steve) Severson, 63, who died on October2, at his home in Riceville.

Rev. D. Dugan, pastor, was in charge of the rites at the Congregational church and arrangements were made by Chisholm Funeral Home. Burial wasd in the Riverside cemetery there. Military rites were conducted by the Riceville American Legion Memorial Squad.

Willard Albert Severson was born August 23, 1908, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, the son of Edward and Emma Severson. He attended the Riceville school, graduating from high school there. He had been with the Howard county maintenance crew since 1932, was a veteran of service in World War II and was a member of the Guy Gue Post of the American Legion.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Emma Severson of Riceville; three brothers, Milford of. . . . [truncated].
