MRS. HENRY KIENAST
FUNERAL SET TODAYFuneral services for Mrs. Henry Kienast, 76, will be held today, Thursday, at 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage. Mrs. Kienast died Saturday in Orlando, Florida, following an illness of two months. The rosary was recited Wednesday evening at the Champion Funeral Home, and burial will be at Sacred Heart cemetery.

Mrs. Henry Kienast was Herbertina (Michels) Kienast. She was born November 18, 1894 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Mathias Michels and Barbara (Lentz) Michels. She died July 25, 1971 in Orlando, Orange Co, Florida.
She married Henry Howard Kienast. He was born February 10, 1887 in Kansas and he died July 22, 1967 in Iowa.

MRS. H. KIENASTFuneral services were held Thursday for a former Osage woman, Mrs. Henry Kienast, 76, who died July 24, 1971 in Orlando, Florida. The Kienasts were Osage residents until 1956, when they moved to Florida.
Rev. John Kessler, church pastor, was in charge of the rites at sacred Heart Catholic church, and local arrangements were made by C.R. Champion and Sons. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Herbertina Michaels was born at New Haven, Iowa, on November 18, 1894, the daughter of Matthew and Barbara Lentz Michels.
Henry Kienast and Herbertina Michels were united in marriage on November 10, 1914.
She was a lifelong member of the Catholic church, and wile in Osage was affiliated with the Sacred Heart Guild and the circles.
Preceding her in death were her husband, henry,who died in 1967; her parents and five sisters: Mrs. Gretta Weaverling, Anna, Libby, Susue and Kate Michels.
Survivors include her seven sons: Joseph of Mason City, Arnold of Osage, Bernard of Minneapolis, Robert of Forest City, Paul of Clear Lake, Val of Wayne, Nebraska, James of New York City; three daughters: Sister Stephania, OSF of Bogota, Colombia, Sister Majella, OSF of Winnebago, Minnesota, Mrs. Warren Baslee (Ann) of Orlando; 21 grandchildren, one great-grandson; three brothers: Martin Michels of Lodi, Wisconsin, Peter Michels of Osage, and Herbert Michels of New Haven.
