Eleanora (Ella Nora?) Schroeder was born February 14, 1898 at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa to William Frederick Schroeder and Antonia Bartz, the 4th of their five children.

Found in the 1900 census living at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa: Wm F Schroder 38, Antony Schroder 33, Oscar Schroder 9, Mable Schroder 7, Alvin Schroder 5, Ella N Schroder 2, Laura Schroder 7/12.

Found in the 1905 - 1920 censuses living at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa:
1910: William F Schroeder 48, Antonia Schroeder 31, Oscar Schroeder 19, Mabel Schroeder 17, Alvin Schroeder 15, Elenora Schroeder 12, Laura Schroeder 10.

1915: Eleanora Schroeder age 17.

1920: William F Schroeder 58, Antonie Schroeder 52, Alvin Schroeder 25, Elenor Schroeder 21.

Eleanora married Edwin Henry August Mielke (born December 14, 1895 Leeds, Columbia, Wisconsin - December 1, 1967 Wheaton, Traverse, Minnesota) between 1920 and 1922. The couple had two children:
Virginia G Mielke (born 1922 Traverse, MN) and Flora J (born 1925 Traverse, MN).

Family found in the 1930, 1940 censuses at Lake Valley, Traverse, Minnesota:
1930: Edwin H Mielke 34, Elenore E Mielke 31, Virginia G Mielke 8, Flora J Mielke 4 yrs 7 mos.

1940: H Ed Mielke 44, Elnora Mielke 41, Virginia Mielke 18, Flora Mielke 14.

Eleanora E Schroeder Mielke died November 3, 1992 at Big Stone, Minnesota and is buried at the Wildwood Cemetery, Wheaton, Traverse, Minnesota.
